More than 400 of CVI's true blue friends gathered at Opera in Midtown on May 6 for the 7th annual True Blue Do. The event raised more than $140,000 to help CVI empower people impacted by vision loss to live with independence and dignity.

Entertainment was provided by the Macular Degenerates, the house band of Eye Consultants of Atlanta featuring CVI Trustee Dr. Michael Roach, Robin Delmer, Dr. Steve Hamilton, Dr. Scott Pastor and Sean Rowe.

Co-chaired by Toni and John Rhett and D.D. and Bick Cardwell, the Do was emceed by WSB-TV Channel 2 News Anchor Jovita Moore. Jason Pullman, host of 94.9 FM The Bull's Caffeinated Radio served as coin master for the Flip for A Trip coin toss where one lucky guest won a vacation in Florida, courtesy of AirTran Airways and Gaylord Hotels.
